This Safari itinerary offers you great experience to African wildlife. After breakfast, you’ll head out for a full day of exploration in Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most diverse parks despite its relatively small size. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and the shimmering soda lake, often dotted with thousands of flamingos and other birdlife. As you drive through the lush groundwater forest, you may encounter elephants, hippos, buffaloes, and an array of bird species. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park or return to the lodge for a hot meal, followed by some leisure time to relax and take in the spectacular views over the Rift Valley. Dinner and your second overnight stay will be at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. .
Depart early in the morning for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a short and scenic drive from Manyara. After reaching the crater rim, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders. This ancient volcanic caldera is home to an abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and the elusive black rhino. Enjoy a full morning of game viewing on the crater floor, followed by a picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots, such as the Hippo Pool picnic site. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the early evening. You’ll check in and relax at the charming Arusha Serena Hotel, set in lush gardens with views of Mount Meru. .
After breakfast at the hotel, depending on your flight schedule, you’ll have time to relax or explore the surrounding area with an optional visit to a local market, coffee plantation, or cultural site. Later, you will be transferred to either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for your departure flight, concluding your unforgettable Tanzanian safari experience.

Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Arusha, heading southwest to Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2-hour drive. Known for its iconic baobab trees and large herds of elephants, Tarangire offers a classic safari experience. Upon entering the park, you'll embark on a game drive, exploring its open savannahs and woodlands in search of wildlife such as lions, zebras, giraffes, and various species of antelope. The Tarangire River serves as a vital water source, attracting a wide range of animals and over 500 species of birds. After a picnic lunch in the park, continue your game viewing en route to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, beautifully set on the edge of the escarpment overlooking Lake Manyara.
